Clearfield City recently adopted a resolution to its General Plan, the Downtown Clearfield Small Area Plan, which calls for the redevelopment of two troubled properties adjacent to a hidden pond in its downtown, totaling 30 AC. Clearfield hired Better City to figure out how best to redevelop these properties and to recruit developers.

In 2016, Clearfield City hired Better City to devise a redevelopment plan for a large 1970s-era shopping center and a dilapidated 100-unit mobile home park in its downtown. Better City completed a feasibility study for the project area which outlines a use mix and site layout that is both market-driven and that plays into Clearfield's long term downtown plans. Better City is currently in the implementation phase.
